Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the RUNEBond website, application, interfaces, and related tools (collectively, the “Platform”), including the swap service, and what choices you have. Terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms and Conditions.

2. The short version

• The Platform has no user accounts. You do not need to give us your name, email, or identity to browse the website or to swap.
• RUNEBond does not take custody of funds and never asks for your private keys or seed phrase.
• Our own analytics do not use cookies and mask wallet addresses and transaction hashes. Third-party components, such as the swap widget, collect their own data under their own policies, which RUNEBond does not control.
• We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

3. Information you give us

• Contact forms and email. When you write to us through a contact form or at info@runebond.com, we receive what you send: typically your name, your email address, and your message. We use it only to answer you and to follow up on your request.
• Notifications. If you choose to receive notifications from the application by email or Telegram, we process the email address or Telegram account you provide for that purpose only, until you turn them off.

4. Information processed automatically

• Our analytics. We use a self-hosted instance of Umami to count page views and clicks. It does not use cookies and does not build individual profiles. Wallet addresses and transaction hashes that appear in page addresses are masked before being recorded, and only a small set of campaign parameters is kept from links. This applies only to RUNEBond’s own analytics.
• Third-party components. Some parts of the Platform, such as the swap widget, are supplied and loaded by third parties. They may collect their own usage data, telemetry, or identifiers, and may use cookies or similar technologies, under their own privacy policies. RUNEBond does not control that collection and cannot apply its own masking to it.
• Hosting. Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and to keep the service secure.
• Fonts and embedded media. Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser requests them. Videos are embedded in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode and are loaded only when you choose to play them.

5. Wallets and public blockchain data

When you connect a wallet, the Platform reads your public wallet address and public on-chain data to show balances, positions, and transaction status. We never have access to your private keys.

Every transaction you sign, including every swap, is recorded on public blockchains. That data is public by design: anyone can see it, and neither RUNEBond nor anyone else can delete or modify it.

6. The swap service and other third parties

The swap service is provided through a widget supplied by SwapKit, a third-party provider, and swaps are executed by independent decentralised protocols (see section 17 of the Terms and Conditions). To quote and execute a swap, the widget processes the information needed for it, such as the assets, the amount, your public wallet address, the destination address, and your IP address, and the provider may also collect usage and telemetry data from the widget. That processing is carried out by the provider, under its own privacy policy and terms of service, and RUNEBond does not control it.

Wallets, block explorers, and other third-party services you use alongside the Platform also have their own privacy practices, which RUNEBond does not control.

7. How we use information

We use the information described above only to operate, secure, and improve the Platform; to answer your messages and send the notifications you asked for; and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it for targeted advertising.

8. Retention

We keep messages and notification settings only as long as needed for the purpose they were given for, or as required by law. Analytics data is kept in aggregated form. On-chain data is outside our control and remains public on the blockchain.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to it, and to receive a copy of it. To exercise any of these rights, write to info@runebond.com. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

10. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we process. No system is completely secure, and RUNEBond will never ask you for your seed phrase or private keys.

11. Changes to this Policy

This Policy may be updated at any time. The version published on the Platform is the version in force, and the date at the top of this page indicates when it was last modified.
