Buy Solana (SOL) without KYC, with the crypto you already hold
To get Solana without KYC, swap a coin you already own for SOL: send it from your wallet and native SOL arrives at your own Solana address. There is no account to open and no ID to upload. It works with crypto, not with a bank card, and you sign each transaction yourself.
- No KYC
- Non-custodial
- Cross-chain
- Native assets
Most people come to SOL to use something on Solana: an app, a token launch, a payment, or a new wallet that cannot move anything until it holds SOL for network fees. They usually already own bitcoin, ether or a stablecoin on another network. Swapping that into native SOL funds the Solana wallet directly, without depositing on an exchange, selling, buying and withdrawing.
About Solana (SOL)
Solana (SOL) is a proof-of-stake blockchain launched in 2020 and built for speed: blocks come in well under a second and network fees are a small fraction of a cent for a simple transfer. SOL is its native coin, used to pay those fees and to secure the network.
SOL lives on its own chain, and versions of it on other networks are wrapped tokens held by a bridge or a custodian. A native cross-chain swap moves real SOL in or out from your own wallet, with no exchange account and no wrapped token in between.
Solana produces blocks in well under a second, so a swap from SOL starts almost as soon as you sign, and SOL sent to you lands in your wallet within moments of the swap completing.
How to get or swap SOL
- 1
Open a Solana wallet you control and copy its receiving address. A brand new wallet with an empty balance can receive SOL; it only needs SOL to send.
- 2
In the widget, keep the coin you hold on the input side (it starts on ether; switch it to bitcoin or any other coin it lists) and SOL on the output side.
- 3
Paste your Solana address, type the amount and check the quote for what lands in your wallet, the cost and the expected time.
- 4
Approve the transaction in the wallet that holds the input coin, then follow the status. To leave SOL later, reverse the sides and keep a small SOL balance behind for fees.
“Buying” SOL here means paying with another coin. If you hold only euros or dollars, a regulated on-ramp with identity checks is the route, and this page does not replace it. If you already hold crypto in a wallet, the swap skips the exchange account entirely: the coin leaves your wallet on its own network and SOL arrives on Solana.
Fund the wallet you will actually use on Solana, not an exchange deposit address. A refund of a SOL swap goes back to the address the SOL came from, and an exchange may not credit coins it did not expect. For the general picture of swapping without an account, read how to swap crypto without KYC.
Why swap SOL this way
No KYC, no sign-up
No account, no email and no identity check. Connect your wallet and swap.
Decentralized and non-custodial
Your funds never sit with RUNEBond or with an exchange. You sign in your own wallet and receive at your own address.
Native coins across chains
Real BTC in, real coins out on their own chains. No wrapped tokens and no IOUs.
Track every step
Know where your swap is at every moment: sent, confirmed, in progress, delivered. No guessing and no support tickets to find out.
Before you swap
- Swap from your native SOL balance. Some wallets also hold wrapped SOL as a separate token; unwrap it to native SOL first if that is where your funds sit.
- Leave a little SOL in your wallet after the swap amount: Solana charges a small network fee on every transaction, and a wallet that is emptied out cannot pay for its next one.
- Send from a wallet you control, not from an exchange withdrawal: if the swap is refunded, the SOL goes back to the address it came from.
Price on large amounts
Large swaps can get a slightly worse price and take longer than small ones. The widget shows the expected price impact and time before you confirm.
Refunds
If a swap cannot be completed, the coins are refunded to the address they came from, minus network fees. Send from a wallet you control, never from an exchange.
Wrong destination address
The coins go to the address you enter, and it must belong to the network of the coin you receive. Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed: check the address before you confirm.
Confirmation time
The swap starts once the network of the coin you send confirms your transaction, so the total time depends on that network. The widget shows the estimate for your amount.

Frequently asked questions
Can I buy SOL without KYC using a card or a bank transfer?
Not here. This page swaps crypto for crypto: you pay with a coin you already hold in your own wallet. Card and bank payments go through companies that are required to verify your identity.
Why does my new Solana wallet need SOL before it can do anything?
Every transaction on Solana pays its network fee in SOL, so a wallet with no SOL cannot send tokens or use apps. Receiving SOL needs no balance, which is why swapping another coin into SOL is a common way to fund a fresh wallet.
Why can I not send my whole SOL balance?
Solana accounts keep a small refundable minimum balance to stay on chain, and each transaction also pays a fee in SOL. Wallets usually hold that amount back, so the most you can swap out is slightly less than the balance shown.
Is wrapped SOL the same as the SOL I receive?
No. Wrapped SOL is SOL held in a token account so apps can treat it as a token, and it shows as a separate entry in many wallets. The swap delivers plain native SOL to your address; to swap wrapped SOL out, unwrap it in your wallet first.
Which coins can I use to get SOL?
Any coin the widget lists when you swap, each sent from its own network. If you start from NEAR or want NEAR instead, there is a dedicated guide for swapping between SOL and NEAR.
