Swap XRP from Xaman to bitcoin and other chains, no KYC
You can swap XRP from Xaman for coins on other blockchains without an exchange account: connect Xaman, choose what you want to receive and approve the transaction in the app. The coins land in a wallet you control on their own network, with no sign-up and no ID check.

- No KYC
- Non-custodial
Xaman is built for the XRP Ledger and the Xahau network, so it holds XRP and XRP Ledger tokens but not bitcoin or ether. When you want to move value from Xaman to another blockchain, or bring it in from one, a cross-chain swap does it in one go from wallet to wallet, while your keys stay on your phone.
How to swap with Xaman
- 1
Have a receiving address ready on the network of the coin you want, in a wallet you control there. Xaman does not hold coins from other blockchains, so bitcoin goes to a Bitcoin wallet, ether to an Ethereum wallet, and so on.
- 2
In the widget, choose XRP as the coin you send, pick what you want to receive and enter the amount. The quote shows what you should get, the cost and the estimated time before you sign.
- 3
Connect Xaman when the widget asks for a wallet. On a computer, that means scanning the code on screen with the Xaman app on your phone.
- 4
Paste the receiving address, check it, and approve the transaction in Xaman. Then follow the status in the widget until the coins arrive.
Setting up Xaman, or connecting it to apps, is covered in its official guide. Open the Xaman guide

Xaman also supports the Xahau network. Swaps here start from XRP on the XRP Ledger, so check that the account you connect is the XRP Ledger one that holds the XRP you want to swap.

Why swap from Xaman this way
No KYC, no sign-up
No account, no email and no identity check. Connect your wallet and swap.
Decentralized and non-custodial
Your funds never sit with RUNEBond or with an exchange. You sign in your own wallet and receive at your own address.
Native coins across chains
Real BTC in, real coins out on their own chains. No wrapped tokens and no IOUs.
Track every step
Know where your swap is at every moment: sent, confirmed, in progress, delivered. No guessing and no support tickets to find out.
Before you swap from Xaman
- Keep your phone with Xaman at hand: the connection and the transaction are approved in the app, protected by your passcode or biometrics.
- Leave the XRP Ledger reserve in your account. Every XRP Ledger address has to keep that minimum, so the most you can swap is your balance minus the reserve.
- The receiving address belongs to another blockchain. Never paste an XRP address, or an exchange deposit address, as the destination for another coin.
Price on large amounts
Large swaps can get a slightly worse price and take longer than small ones. The widget shows the expected price impact and time before you confirm.
Refunds
If a swap cannot be completed, the coins are refunded to the address they came from, minus network fees. Send from a wallet you control, never from an exchange.
Wrong destination address
The coins go to the address you enter, and it must belong to the network of the coin you receive. Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed: check the address before you confirm.
Confirmation time
The swap starts once the network of the coin you send confirms your transaction, so the total time depends on that network. The widget shows the estimate for your amount.
Frequently asked questions
Can I swap XRP to bitcoin from Xaman?
Yes. You send XRP from Xaman and receive native BTC on the Bitcoin network, in a Bitcoin wallet you control. Xaman itself does not hold bitcoin, so the BTC never goes to your Xaman account.
Can I get XRP into Xaman from another coin?
Yes. Put the coin you hold on the sending side, choose XRP to receive and paste the XRP address of your Xaman account as the destination. If that account is new, receive at least the reserve amount, because an XRP Ledger address only exists once it holds that minimum.
Do I need a destination tag to receive XRP in Xaman?
Destination tags are how shared addresses, such as exchange deposit addresses, tell their customers apart. The address of your own Xaman account is not shared with anyone, which is one more reason to receive XRP there rather than at an exchange.
Does RUNEBond get access to my Xaman account?
No. Your keys stay on your phone and you approve every transaction in Xaman yourself. RUNEBond never takes custody of funds and cannot move anything without your approval in the app.
Is this the swap feature built into Xaman?
No. RUNEBond is independent from Xaman. This swap sends XRP from your Xaman account and delivers the native coin of another blockchain to a wallet of yours on that network.
